Completely dead
No standby light, no relay click, no response to the remote or the power button.
No power, no display, clicking relay, or a screen that lights up then dies — those are board faults. We repair main boards, power supply boards and T-Con boards at component level in our Sharjah workshop, and we collect from anywhere in the UAE.
Most people describe the same handful of symptoms — no picture, no power, a red standby light that blinks and nothing more. Behind those symptoms there are usually only three suspects, and telling them apart is the whole job.
The brain. Handles HDMI, tuner, apps, USB and the panel signal. Fails after firmware corruption, surges, or a blown HDMI port — you get sound with no picture, dead ports, or endless reboot loops.
Turns mains into the voltages everything else needs. Bulging capacitors, burnt fuses and failed MOSFETs cause dead sets, clicking relays, and TVs that switch on for a second then die.
Drives the panel itself. When it fails you see half-screen images, negative colours, vertical lines, flickering, or a faint picture you can only see with a torch.
We diagnose first and tell you which board it is before any money is spent. If a repair isn't worth it against the value of the set, we say so.
If your TV is doing any of this, the fault is almost certainly on a board.
No standby light, no relay click, no response to the remote or the power button.
The TV tries to start and shuts itself down, often in a repeating blink pattern.
Audio plays normally and the backlight may be on, but the screen stays black.
Coloured bands, a frozen half image, or negative-looking colours across the panel.
Picture appears for a few seconds, then the set cuts out — classic power board behaviour.
One or all inputs stop being detected while the rest of the TV works fine.
Smart TVs, commercial displays, monitors, soundbars and projectors — same bench, same technicians.
Firmware reflashing, HDMI port rework, EEPROM reprogramming, and full board replacement when the fault is beyond repair.
Capacitor and MOSFET replacement, fuse and rectifier work, standby rail rebuilds, and testing under load before it leaves us.
Panel signal faults, gamma correction issues, ribbon and COF connection repair for lines, flicker and half-screen images.
Driver circuit repair plus LED strip replacement when the picture is only visible under a torch.
Ultrasonic cleaning, corrosion removal and track repair after power surges, leaks or AC condensation damage.
A board repair usually costs a fraction of a replacement set, and on a good panel it's the sensible call. Here's what you get from us.
Five steps, from your first message to the TV back on the wall.
WhatsApp us the brand, model number and a short video of what the TV does. Most faults are recognisable straight away.
We collect from your home or office across Sharjah, Dubai and the northern emirates, or you drop it to Industrial Area 6.
Rail-by-rail voltage checks isolate the faulty board. You get a fixed quote before anything is replaced.
Rework, part replacement, then hours of testing under load to make sure the fault doesn't come back.
Delivered, refitted and demonstrated working, with the warranty written on your invoice.
Send something like "Samsung UA55AU8000 — red light blinks, no picture" and you'll get a likely cause and a price range back the same day.
On most sets 43" and above with a healthy panel, a board repair costs far less than a replacement and the TV goes on for years. Where it stops making sense is on small, older, low-cost sets — and we'll tell you that rather than take the job.
Most power and T-Con board repairs are done in one to two working days. Main board faults needing an ordered part can take three to five days, and we confirm the timeline with the quote.
No. Diagnosis is free and you see a fixed price before we start. If you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing.
Whichever is right for the fault. A blown capacitor or MOSFET gets repaired at component level. Burnt tracks, failed processors or heavy surge damage usually mean a replacement board, and we source genuine parts for the model.
Every board repair carries a written warranty covering the work and the parts we fitted. The period is stated on your invoice and depends on the repair type.
We're based in Third Industrial Area 6, Sharjah, and serve all eight emirates. Pickup and delivery in Sharjah, Dubai and Ajman is free; other emirates are arranged case by case.
Free diagnosis, free collection in Sharjah and Dubai, and a price before any work starts.
Fill this in and we'll come back with a diagnosis window and a price range. Or just message us on WhatsApp.
